Samantha Frances wrote the first Frances & the foundation song in her living room with a friend. After bouncing between Colorado Springs and Seattle. Frances made a Home in Nashville, where she forged her no-holds bar attitude and sold her soul to Rock N'Roll.
THe band has grown their alternative aesthetic with a dirtier,hard-hitting sound while maintaining the catchiness of today's rock pop hits.
"I'm talking to myself in songs a lot of the time, usually sorting out how i feel about something going on in life, or how I feel about society." Said Frances
Frances and the Foundation's influences derive from the world them, but ultimately comes from the mind and soul of Samantha. Frances' relatable lyrics and versatile vocal styles has lead them to unique opportunities, including shows with punk veterans The GasLight Anthem and Grammy Award winning-rockers The Alabama Shakes.
